Meditation-Made-less scary: read here
svasthana – to be situated in the self. – this is the true end of meditation.
Know this: Meditation, in one form or another is right for you, in splendid and unexpected ways
Everyone says you should do it. Easier said than done for lots of reasons. But the bottom line is it is the BEST WAY to get to know yourself from the inside out, create a rhythm and chill.
In Ayurveda-Land we call it svasthana – to be situated in the self. Getting there requires practice. Daily practice if you can…even if it’s just a few minutes of breathing to start.
I had all kinds of reasons for not taking mediation into my life. A few excuses I swore by were: too scary, too confusing, too complicated, takes too much time, impossible for me, goofy, woody new age gobbledygook. etc etc etc.
Now Meditation is my friend and all those reasons seem absurd. Easy for me to say…. So how do you conquer the little nay saying voices that keep you from developing a practice?
FIRST: Understand that there are many ways to meditate and one is right for you.
SECOND: When one appeals to you and you get started, even with a tiny little practice of 30 seconds in the morning, the practice just grows and once it starts growing it flourishes and feeds you in splendid and unexpected ways.
There will be many opportunities to learn techniques and ides and practices presented through lah life. Keep on the look-out and find a practice that is right for you.
Alternately, call and make a private session to get started….
